Because the nicotine itself doesn't break down the metals and instead breaks down the ligands protecting thenano particles from being removed and once that shell is gone the proteins in the blood would immediately cleanthem out.Makes technically sense, is plausible based on current research and available nanotech components. PEG can bebroken down by nicotine for example and is used to protect foreign materials at nano sizes from the body'sdefenses.I was imprecise in wording and you're right to call me out.
