I have still not heard any good evidence from v30 supporters. Maybe the best one is that the whole conflict is apsyop. However, one would have to overcome conjecture to make that evidence hold.
if you accept witness data can be abused and not pruned, wouldn't your prefer that abuse to take place in aprunable spot that doesn't pollute the utxo set?
