Not really.If stored air tight in a cool dark place, green unroasted coffee can last for up to 2-3 yrs without totaldegradation.Roasted coffee beans are like any other food product. They will not spoil or make you sick, that I know of, butthey will oxidize in less than two-three months & have lost their richness and luster.Try to store your coffee in an airtight container, in whole bean format, in a cool dark place with low humidity.Grind fresh just before brewing.
