I am intending to get a JR Pass. Anyone want to dissuade me from that?Haven't done the calculations in depth, but from reading Seat61 it seems I'll get most of the value back fromthe few long distance Shinkansens (up and down the country), so any savings buying individual tickets will bemarginal.
