|    Jess Phillips, the Minister for Safeguarding Girls, has now admitted in Parliament that she had prior knowledge
|    of young girls being raped by police officers in grooming gangs:

|    “I would be lying if I said that over the years I have not met girls who talked to me about how police were part
|    of the perpetration, not just the cover-up.”
|    
|    This is the same Jess Phillips that campaigned against a national inquiry into grooming gangs.
|    
|    If Jess Phillips, the Minister for Safeguarding Women and Girls and career feminist decided to look the other
|    way when young English girls told her the police were also part of the rape gangs, who can we expect to come to
|    their aid?
