| I've read, germination drops off pretty quickly and it was later in the year.  |
| I guess they are putting out seeds now. I ordered three bare root cottonwoods  |
| that were about 1-2 feet tall and planted them. But I'll see how the fresh     |

| Fabulous articles. Well articulated and concise. I was wondering about one     |
| part and interested in some elaboration. In your A Theistic Perspective on     |
| Money and Bitcoin article you start off describing how love or violence can be |
| used to coordinate human behavior before there was money, and in a fallen      |
| world, money has let us coordinate human behavior beyond our social group,     |
| reducing the use of violence (evil). In the what is money section I'm assuming |
| you are referencing I Timothy 6:10 when you say "In this way, I do not believe |
| that money is the root of all evil." Maybe you intended it the way you wrote   |
| it, but that verse is often misquoted because it says "For the love of money   |
| is the root of all kinds of evil." Because yes, money does give an option      |
| other than violence to coordinate. But I don't agree with what you quoted      |
| right after, "if it were not for the presence of evil in all humans, the       |
| invention of money would not have been required". In describing Eden in        |
| Genesis 2:10-12, pre fall, gold, an earliest form of money, is described as    |
| being there, and being good. "And a river went out of Eden to water the        |
| garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. The name of |
| the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah,     |
| where there is gold; and the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and  |
| the onyx stone." But excellent articles with thought provoking perspectives on |
| the topics. The community needs more articles like this.                       |

| The applewood butcherblock top for the island is finally completed! From       |
| cutting 11 trunks in nearby Adams County, one of the big apple producing       |
| regions in the country, loading them on the pickup, taking it to get cut up at |
| the mill, waiting for it to dry, and then joining and planing down all the     |
| pieces, gluing them up, sanding them down, and applying the finish, it is a    |
| true test of low time preference that paid off. I think it is cool having such |
| a unique piece made from a local and regionally, economically significant      |
| product.                                                                       |

| I'm glad you only use natural ingredients and a little disappointed in         |
| humanity that no one figured out how to steam distill coconuts. I steep        |
| dessicated coconut in cream (then strain it out) to make coconut ice cream. It |
| is the only flavor in the ice cream and it is the best tasting coconut ice     |
| cream. Haven't tried washing myself with it though. That would be a COLD       |
| shower.                                                                        |
