e SailfishOS merges together outdated AOSP and desktop Linux components along with their own closed source UI /
application layer. It implements a compatibility layer for Android apps with AOSP code in a way that throws away
the application sandbox and privacy/security provided by AOSP. It's a huge downgrade for privacy and security as
a whole. It's also not an open source OS which can be forked as AOSP can be but rather the parts they make are
largely closed source instead.
