| Satoshi's stake is very, very relevant. Assuming it's controlled by the NSA    |
| then this fork takes the control of those coins away from the NSA inside this  |
| new network. If you assume Paul is part of the NSA, or some other attacking    |
| force, then this reassigns the value from Satoshi to potentially new entrants  |
| that might be government aligned. Regardless Satoshi's stake is very relevant. |

| I have a different vision for where the economics land. I don't think we'll    |
| ever see complete tail risk collapse. We'll see an adjustment over the         |
| adoption period where adoption of the new network is driving the value (where  |
| I believe we are now) but I don't think this leads to hoard and grow value.    |
|                                                                                |
| I believe after adoption wave completes and we arrive at the top of the S      |
| curve, Bitcoin's price will remain cyclically volatile as people move out corn |
| for economic activity and back in as economic activity produces results. I     |
| think the value of Bitcoin will likely look like what free money should look   |
| like with booms and busts constantly based on market conditions opposed to     |
| what we see now with dollar based fed management. I think that's far more zulm |
| (I hope I'm using this right as I had to look it up and might be totally off   |
| usage) as the merits of each individual's foresight determines the value of    |
| their wealth through economic movements.                                       |

| It certainly could have been designed otherwise but the design choice of       |
| supply didn't guarantee the price increase per token. Arguably it could have   |
| caused later investors to never take the risk of the network and never invest  |
| causing the coins to remain worthless. Only from our past tense vision can we  |
| see the increase. At the time it was a worthless network. In terms of Halal    |
| there's no interest in the actual coinage so I can't understand where it would |
| be Haram on simply a changing value but I'm not muslim and would love to hear  |
| more.                                                                          |

| I don't follow the interest pattern on the corn at all. It didn't bear         |
| interest on corn, in fact monetarily, early mining didn't even give you        |
| anything since most tokens in the true early days were worthless, monetarily,  |
| at the time.                                                                   |

| I couldn't agree more about the halving. It's the only thing that keeps        |
| Bitcoin, Bitcoin imo. Otherwise outsized capital investments would have ruined |
| Bitcoin's ownership share leaving existing capital structure control of the    |
| network. Thankfully the early miners have more corn to throw around to control |
| where the network rules end up falling.                                        |

| I'll mostly disagree on this one. The network was announced early and anyone   |
| could have joined the mining process and Satoshi didn't give himself a set of  |
| coins just because. I don't think of other's disregard for early mining the    |
| same as a premine.                                                             |

| The divergence is what creates the new network of existence. There's currently |
| no network that defines that private key holding value within the rule         |
| ecosystem of eCash. The eCash ecosystem won't start until their fork date so   |
| there's no history on that network because the network itself doesn't exist.   |
| Satoshi won't lose anything because even when eCash begins he will never go    |
| from 1 to 0. He will always be at 0.                                           |

| Even if Paul says it's a reassignment that's not theft because he isn't taking |
| anything from anyone. He's just saying that if you want to play in his         |
| ecosystem this will be the starting rules and Satoshi won't get to play in it  |
| nad instead Satoshi's stake will be offered as an investment oppurtunity.      |

| I view this equivalent to a company that has been running for 10 years where   |
| all the employees decide that the owner doesn't contribute and decides let's   |
| create a new company that does the same thing and we're going to give every    |
| employee other than the owner the same share in this new company. They've not  |
| stolen anything from the original company. They've just decided we'll start a  |
| new company using our existing corporate stakes as the defining factor for the |
| newly formed company.                                                          |
